  • Interested in pursuing a college education,a career in one or more areas of the professions,a career in the fields of business, computer science, health care, law, social science, science, education, journalism, homeland security, public policy, public administration, public health, or public safety,
  • the management of public or private affairs within the Marshall Islands government

The College of the Marshall Islands (CMI) is an internationally recognized and recognized institution of higher education providing degrees in sciences, business technology, education, and more. It is situated in Majuro Atoll, an island in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, in the Pacific Ocean. The U.S. Congress established the CMI in 1977 under Article 602 under the Compact of Free Association with the United States, signed into law by President Gerald Ford.
